13 Hours and 38 Minutes to Go!
Ha! HA! HA! Not really counting the minutes to old age! Just thought it was funny.
13 Hours and 48 Minutes to Go!
Could this be the end? My body is aching, my mind is leaving me and it seems that yesterday was the same as the day before. I pinch myself and I know I am still here. The stress of work still comes every day. The bills still come in the mail. People are not crying nor are they wearing black. Hmmmm, I know I am not dying, but what is going on? OH, I KNOW WHAT! I am getting OLDER, tomorrow is MY birthday! Yep, it's all about me tomorrow (well, EVERYDAY should be about me)! And with all those warm birthday wishes, come wrinkles, stiff joints and in only 21 more years, senior citizen discounts! YIPPEE! Ok, that just made me laugh!

Why is Happiness Stressful?
Ok, today David and I went to Chicago Title when we signed a Quit Deed which means I own a house! I OWN A HOUSE! It's an amazing feeling but very stressful. I guess I am growing up. I am living the American dream! It's crazy. It was such a wonderful day for me but was sad to see David upset. He did say a lot of stress has been lifted from him. It seems like just yesterday that I was just a kid living day by day with no worries in the world. Things are definitely changing and I am excited about it. I sent a text message to a lot of my friends and looks like we are going to have a good turnout for my birthday dinner next Wednesday. As you may know, I don't like to make a big deal of my birthday but I want this year to be different! I have learned to value my friends and they mean the world to me! I am excited. My back is still sore but things are getting better! Well, that's all folks.

Who Needs a Lower Back Anyway?
Well, truth is setting in and I am getting older. I have tried to ignore all the signs that have come up in the past (My sister Michelle pointing out the lines and wrinkles on my face! ~ Plastic surgery set for late August!, Kidding) but this one, I cannot ignore. When I was at work Wednesday, I threw my back out. Very stupid. I was trying to put two pieces of a sectional together when my back popped! OUCH! So, I was laid up in bed for a couple days.
I did get out of the house briefly yesterday when Tyson and I went to see "All Shook Up" a Broadway musical at ASU Gammage! VERY CHEESY. I think one of the performers was a transsexual. OK, she really wasn't, but it sure looked like it. She was funny. There was something about her. Tyson thought that she was drunk, I thought she was stoned. During her solo performance, she couldn't hold it together. She kept laughing. Anyway, the show was oddly entertaining and it was good to get out of bed. We met one of Tyson's good friends and her boyfriend. There were great; I really enjoyed the both of them. Afterwards Tyson and I went to dinner. YUM. Last night was a quiet evening in, of course! Just the way I like it.
Before the show, Tyson and I went to Z Gallery where we found a lot of cool stuff that we are going to get to decorate our home after the remodel. The beautiful guest bathroom seemed to take a turn from a love Paris theme to a Paris brothel theme. I bought the huge picture of the Eiffel tower that is going on one of the walls and the fireplace. While at Z Gallery, we saw a beautiful crystal chandelier that is going to hang about fireplace! OMG!, this is going to be a typical GAY home! YIKES!
I am going to try to include more photos of before and after of the home.
Oh, last night Tyson and I booked out tickets to see his brother in Las Vegas the weekend after the 4th of July AND we booked our plane tickets to Nikki's wedding. It's going to be a quick trip but at least we will be there for the wedding. We get in around 9:30am the day of the wedding and leave around 10AM on Sunday! This marriage better last cuz it's costing us us almost a $1000 for a trip that is just a bit over 24 hours in length.
Well, that ends this entry! Back to watching TV and enjoying the relaxation of a lazy Sunday!

Chicken noodle soup for one!
Tyson is sick and it might be the flu! Send your prayers for a speedy recovery. Damn, I miss him and hope he gets well soon so I can see him!
We do learn something every day.
Today when I got home from work I noticed that I received a wedding invitation to my sister Nikki's wedding. I read the invitation and noticed at the bottom that they were asking for money instead of gifts. Why were people that have money asking for money? Do poor people really have poor taste? Just thought that was weird. The next thing that I noticed that the wedding was being held in a park. Hmmmm, outdoors in Nevada at the end of July. Wasn't it going to be hot? Even more important, what would I wear if I decided to go. Then I kind of put it in my mind that I wasn't going to go. Why? Well, it seemed that there was a lot of negative discussion about the man she was marrying when Tyson and I were visiting my family a few weeks ago. Earlier this evening, I was driving to Boston Market when I realized something very important. I was thinking about my sister, Nikki's wedding and everything that was said about it by my family and the fact that I had already decided not to go. Something clicked in my head that I overlooked when I noticed the wedding invitation. The invitation was addressed to Christopher Espersen and Tyson. WOW, she invited Tyson. I always thought that Nikki was the least supportive of me being gay and now here she was inviting my boyfriend to her wedding. I realized that she was being supportive of me without agreeing with me. Isn't that what family is all about? At that point, I realized that I could still be supportive even if I didn't agree with a person. I am not saying that I am not agreeing with my sister's decision to get married because I have never met her fiance. I think all members of my family should be supportive of her even if they don't agree with her decision. So, I am going to go to her wedding and hope Tyson can go with me! She is my sister after all.

Day from Hell: Laundry Day!
I would consider today HELL Day. Why HELL day? Well, it is the day that I spend doing laundry. For a lot of people, they don't spend the ENTIRE day doing laundry, but I do. Yes, ALL DAY. I have about 12 to 15 loads of laundry today. It would be easier to do a couple loads a day but I have 3 other roommates doing laundry which makess this hard to do. Ok, I don't mind doing laundry all day because it gives me an excuse to stay in bed, watch tv or movies and just be lazy! If it wasn't for the laundry, days like this would be great.
I did some more shopping today, online. I bought a nice white ventless fireplace to put in the guest bath. (I am no longer calling it my bathroom since I will soon have the master bedroom with it's own bath) I am looking forward to doing all this remodeling. This bathroom looks great now but it is going to AMAZING once the remodeling is done. I am going to use black river rock in the shower and on some of the walls with grey or black slate tile on the floor. It will pop with great white crown molding and large white baseboards, modern white sink & Toilet, new light fixtures and new faucets for the sink and the shower. The bathtub will get a beautiful new finish with a shiny white resurfacing treatment.
Yesterday, John (roommate), Tyson and myself had a yard sale. We did pretty good. Got rid of a lot of stuff we had cluttering the house and shed. I also brought some stuff from my job home to sell. Unfortunately that stuff didn't sell too well. So, I have about 30 lamps and 6 dinner tables sitting outside with no home. Maybe I will leave them outside with a sign that says free. People love FREE! I just want them GONE.
Tyson and I went out to the bar last night to meet his roommate and some of his friends. We were there for about an hour and his friends never showed up, so we left. They were running VERY late and the bar was dead and lame. Amsterdam is not what it used to be. Oh well, I don't like going out anyway. On the way home, we stopped at Taco Bell and go something to eat. Poor Tyson, his stomach was giving him problems and the Taco Bell didn't help. Can you say Barf?
We woke up LATE about 9:30 and I took Tyson home so I can do my laundry.
Well, that is all for now, glad to keep you caught up to what is going on!

Butter on a Bald Monkey
Ok, the title is a bit weird but Tyson created it. Couldn't think of something on my own so Delicious T helped me out. Today Tyson and I went to breakfast at the gay egg. It was good but my french toast was TOO eggy. Why don't you spell egg "agg" just like it is pronounced? Guess it will be one of those questions like which came first, the chicken or the egg. Yeah, I am a deep thinker. After breakfast, we came back to my place and Tyson napped while I watched tennis. Afterwards, we went Coppenhagen so I could show Tyson the leather sectional that I have and found some amazing stuff that we wanted to buy. We followed that up by some shopping at macy's where I replenished my cologne, added a pair of shoes to my already enormous collection and Tyson got a nice Summer coat. He makes the jacket HOT! I was also introduced to Sarah Silverman and Jesus is Magic. I thought my humor was jacked up, but she has me beat. It's not for the faint of heart or black folk....... LOL.... or Chinese, or old people, or Mexicans or people with AIDS or survivors of the Holocaust. Basically it offeneded everyone! You should definitely go rent it! I am getting tired and hungry so it's time to go get something to eat! That's all for today. BYE

The Road To Owning My First Home!
This is my first entry to my blog. I hope to let you all in to my life. I am not good at emailing or calling, so maybe this will be a better tool. I will try to focus on Tyson (my boyfriend), work, the process of buying a home that has just started and all the other aspects of my life that I think you might find interesting. HERE GOES:
Today I bought my first purchase as a to-be-home owner; a lawn mower! Yep, I bought a lawn mower. I went to several places looking for an electric mower and finally found one at Lowes. I couldn't believe that Home Depot considered lawn mowers to be out of season now. Ok, Whatever. I brought it home, put it in the back yard and left it. Not even going to use it today. It's too hot. I wasn't even going to get out of bed today. This is going to be my alone day. Just laying in bed watching movies and tennis was on schedule.
I am getting very excited and nervous about buying a home. So many things to do which equals a lot of money being spent. Last night Tyson and I went shopping at Ikea and got some ideas for the kitchen. I think we are going to get our cabinets there as a temporary plan until I can go "all out" on an expensive kitchen. I am going to try to convince him on blue or red cabinets with a concrete countertop. Very fun, modern, and young, just like the both of us. Can't wait until the full process is underway.
